The 2023 camp (The 22nd Annual Donald Hicks Basketball Day Camp) will be held July 10th-14th at Grace Reformed Church in Newton.
We teach basketball drills, STEM appreciation, life skills, review math and reading to minimize summer learning loss and encourage strong character and sportsmanship.
The fee for camp is $100 per child. That fee covers breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack. The campers also receive a t-shirt and a goodie bag with school supplies and other treats our sponsors donate.

What We Do
The Donald Hicks Basketball Day Camp helps children improve athletic, academic, life, and social skills by making learning fun as well as educational!
We offer our campers instruction and training in the following areas
- Basketball Fundamentals
- Basketball Scrimmages
- Reading and Math Sessions with Basketball Theme
More Than Just Basketball
Our camp curriculum also includes activities meant to introduce and reinforce the STEM focus as well as core Reading and Math fundamentals.
